The OAXAO

OAXAO introduction

J.A. Garcia

OAXAO = 29411 = 17 = 8

The OAXAO represents a map of our relationship to the divine. Taking the Hermetic idea, “as above so below” we quickly recognize in quantum reality that this phrase also points us to an understanding of “as without so within”. Astrology begins to understand this in its recognition of the subtle and sometimes not so subtle influence the heavenly bodies have on our conscious lives, emotional experience, and phenomenology. To be clear, this may represent a way of understanding these astrological influences, however it does not represent a new astrology.

In this system we also see a reflection of the Naples arrangement whereby it is numerically illustrated how existence itself emanates from nothingness. In this it is very much like the traditional Kabbalah in its use of ten sephirot (spheres) to represent the human relationship to god. However, the OAXAO comes from the more enlightened understanding that Self is God and illustrates the individual’s journey from nothingness, to form, to awakening to nothingness. Here it is important to understand that nothingness is equivalent to All, or absolute union of All. This is the story of separating from oneness and returning to oneness. The OAXAO represents the individual’s relationship to themselves. The OAXAO is a map of Self as it is reflected in the Macrocosmic heavens themselves.

This map is also a reflection of the microcosmic as is seen in the prominence of the double helix (double wand of power) that ultimately connects our birth to our death. Death is preprogrammed in the cells, apoptosis. It is our destiny to return, it is our program to return. This has significance. Just as the darkness gives meaning to light, hot gives meaning to cold, up gives meaning to down, yin gives meaning to yang, death gives meaning to life. Further, the structure of the OAXAO was born of the very prominent golden ratio as it is found in nature. DNA follows a structure very close to the mathematical formula of Fibonacci, the structure of the face follows this ratio, the structure of solar systems (theoretically) follows this ratio, galaxies follow this ratio. From the DNA itself to the Galaxies themselves we find this ratio.

This is the structure as it plays throughout nature, to the very core of our being. Eternally spiraling in and eternally spiraling out. We find ourselves here, on earth, the sphere of form, which is why and how we can formulate this map. We are in the sphere of solid form. The earth, sphere four. In the Naples arrangement, 0 = nothing, 1 = the point (1st dimension), 2 = the line (2nd dimension), 3 = the triangle (3rd dimension), and 4 = the square (4th dimension) where we can perceive matter and form.

**I recognize that the understood dimensions (width, height, depth, and time) are loosely correlated and a bit off here. This I may explore in a separate paper.

The OAXAO illustrates in 2 dimensions how we are connected, how we are the system. Being able to see how, we can begin to use this structure as a method for giving meaning to our individual existence. In seeing the structure, by being awake to the system itself, being awake to our Selves, only then can we manifest Will.

I should say a few words on the correlations (or lack thereof) between the OAXAO and the Kabbalah.  The OAXAO while resembling the kabbalah in having 10 spheres is not intended to be a “new” kabbalah. The OAXAO is a relatively separate concept and exploration. It is a map with similar (not identical) purpose. Moreover, it is a map of a different world than what the Kabbalist’s mapped. Comparing the OAXAO to the Kabballah is like comparing a map of South America to a map of North America.  Rivers, lakes, mountains, and plains all may be represented similarly, but they are in fact two distinct places. Additionally, our instruments for observation have changed, our place in and amongst the stars has changed.  I imagine the difference between Galileo Galilei’s observations of the solar system through his hand-held telescope and the observations being made now through the Hubble Space Telescope. His observations were limited to the time in which he lived.

The most important aspect of spiritual growth is in fact GROWTH. Our understanding of the spiritual landscape must evolve with our new understanding of science, our new perspectives on the world, and our own instinctual sense of connection with the world around us.  This sense is born from our own personal awakening through our own personal meditation and ritual.

“Be a light unto yourself; betake yourselves to no external refuge. Hold fast to the Truth. Look not for refuge to anyone besides yourselves.”
